ABOUT

Phil Katz, a lifelong Philadelphian, founded Katz Development in 2012. The company has built a diverse real estate business around residential, mixed-use and commercial projects.  Our success has been fueled by collaborations with reliable and valued partners, excellent customer relations, careful planning and hands-on development engagement.  Katz Development continues to explore opportunities that will enhance our prudent and timely growth.

 

Phil was born and raised in West Mt. Airy.  A graduate of the William Penn Charter School and Washington University,  Phil is a serial entrepreneur having launched and run marketing, software and film enterprises.  He is the co-founder of and partner in History Making Productions, producer of the 6abc documentary  series on the city’s four hundred year history.

 

After developing the 3rd floor and roof deck of his own home in Bella Vista, Phil shifted his focus to the conscientious development of real estate in his home city.  Katz Development has already laid groundwork for creating a great brand, product and impact with projects in Bella Vista, Fishtown, Brewerytown, Fitler Square and Pennsport.
